I'm sure I came across this very same piece of machinery a few years back, only the light wasn't anywhere near as good as what you have captured here. Is this taken just on the edge of Bowness?
cheers, y'all. this is indeed just north of Bowness. i stopped off for a walk along the lake on the way to the station, mainly to tick it off the list and be able to say i've been there. not sure windermere is the best use of time spent in the lakes, though...
