When I first came here last August this square was concreted and fenced off, full of machinery. Now they've replaced it with some more of this silly zigzagging paths. It's not the fact that they've made funny shaped paths that I find so silly, it's the fact that they went to all the effort to make nice shaped paths and then made them out of those bollocks squres of concrete rather than some decent material.

The old quad -- now new quad. Wow. I remember the 1o minutes during change of classes -- so crowded in the quad you could hardly move.
